Let B is real, x and for x \in R^m
then
Bx = 0 ==> B'Bx = 0
on the other hand
B'Bx = 0 ==> x'B'Bx = 0 ==> ||Bx||^2 = 0 ==> Bx = 0
that is Bx = 0 <==> B'Bx = 0, so B and B'B has the same NULL space
then rank(B) = rank(B'B)
