apply magnetic field to it, the orbital angular momentum around the magnetic
field is quantized. Since the electron number is conserved, so the density of
state changes from a parabolic to steps. It was proposed by L.D. Landau in
1930 and was measured by de Haas and van Alphen at the same year. For HTSC,
the electrons are considered mainly confined in 2D cuprate layer, and
therefore the Landau levels are co-centric circ
