1000m (LW radio frequency) to 10^(-10)m (X-ray), in wavelength. The
application is mostly for material analysis and determination.
E.g., if we have a piece of organic mixture and want to know its components,
we may just sweep IR (infra-red) though/on it, by observing the absorbance
peaks on the transmission/reflection spectrograph (x-axis is the frequency,
y-axis is the absorbed intensity), we would know the differrent |
