应该叫衰退分析
最早的典故是如下统计结果:
Predictor(x): Height of the father;
Response(y): Height of the son;
Tall fathers trend to have tall sons, but not as tall as their fathers;
Short fathers trend to have shrot sons, but not as short as their fathers.
