I am looking for some materials with refractive index smaller
than SiO2 (1.47 at 1.2 um). Anyone has suggestion?
I know some optical fiber has cladding layer whose refractive
index is around 1.2, but can not find any information on that.
Is there anyone know it?

一笔，因为RI比水小的光学材料有很多重要用途。

是1.0几

一般的AR coating很多都是用MgF2来做.
