Why would you be a landlord of a 50W house collecting ~1800/month.
It barely covers interest, let alone insurance, maintainence, tax...
The renter enjoys same life quality from the very property. Only difference is not having their name locked on a deed paper, which says the true ownership is secondary to government and bank anyw

我觉得买房子做投资的人是不会看rent ratio的,要看的都是房价涨得潜力有多大。
买房的人和租房的人永远都不是一个perfect market - 不是说任何一个家庭都能瞬间
从买房变成租房,vice versa。 |

k*****a 发帖数: 1463 | 6 买房子做投资: cash flow ratio (of course, it is related to rent/own ratio). BTW, a batch of "real-estate" investor (well, they did not pay attention to this simple ratio) went foreclosure and has been wiped out in this area, those used to be multi-millionairs.
The surviving one is buying ONLY if there is deep discount to the market and flipping things over.
