i got a recommendation from a cowork that some guy (certified technician,
licensed as well) can do it a lot cheaper....
Is that OK to do 60K service by a "freelance" technician? (my waranty doesn'

well or even better, at a fraction of the cost. Which I could find a good f
reelancer for my car, the dealer is way too black.

expensive.
normally the labor is the same price as the parts, unless it's something
labor-intensive such as changing timing belt + water pump

for 60k cars, I will replace brake fluid, transmission (and differential for
4x4) fluid, replacing spark plugs (even for iridium plugs), coolant besides
normal oil changes. |
