Is it allowed to go kayaking in the Lake Washington/Sammamish etc? In which
area is kayaking allowed?
Is there any fee/permit/license for kayaking? Where/How do I pay?
Is there any requirements on attending beginner lesson or safety equipment?
My car is a sedan, how should I carry the kayak on my car? Do I need to
install rack on top of my car? Where can I install that?

Yes, you can take a boat on any public lake or river, including Lake
Washington and Sammamish. You may access any area of the lake, with only a
few exceptions. For example, you cannot take your boat into designated
swimming areas, or near military vessels or facilities. There will usually
be signs around other restricted areas. You need to launch from a public

发帖数: 36 | 7 昨天在 NWOC租了 SEA Kayak， 从 bottom of Lake Union, China Harbor 餐馆附近，
一路划到UW近边的arboretum park. 来回足足花了3 个小时。过瘾，手疼。
赞 nwoc. 去年在他们那儿上的课， Fundamentals Of Sea Kayaking。 第一次上船，
先教救援。自救，把翻了的Kayak翻过来，如何从水里爬到船上（技术活，不信你爬一
个试试：），把水用手泵泵出来 （力气活）。互救，把Kayak翻过来，水倒出去，人爬
上来。 等大家都掉下去又爬上来两三次了，再教如何在侧翻的一瞬间保持平衡。这个
要主动晃动到快翻了，再用桨把它撑回来。晃大发了扑通扑通掉下水，请复习互相救援
。 单数的那位，咳咳，你自救吧。
最后一天去Deception Pass。去过的人可能记得从桥上往下看，有划艇的人逆流而上，
非常牛的样子，这个，说不定你去年今日看到的酷人就是本菜鸟在上课。
不会游泳估计掉到水里会很慌乱，还是先学游泳吧。
