I have a friend from China who will tour the U.S. for a few months. He is
wondering if he gets a Washington driver license to help drive around in
this country. He speaks Chinese only. My questions are:
1. He has no SSN. Can he still get a driver license?
2. I notice there's a WA Driver License Guide in Chinese. Can he do his
written test in Chinese?
3. After he passes the written test, when can he take the road test - i.e.
is there a wait line? Where can he find the road test in Chin |

nts. But he may drive with his Chinese license for a short time (highly depe
nds on state, I am not sure of WA rule).
