Must Have:
- Experience in new product introduction (consumer electronics). People who
have worked at Nokia, Motorola, Zune / XBox
- Depth in technology (display technology with laser or optics
- Good tenure (3+ yrs)
Required Skills
Technical Skills/Knowledge:
Strong leadership skills demonstrated across multiple disciplines (technical
, operational, financial etc)
Program or Project Management in an Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality
environment for Consumer Electronics or related industry preferred.
Current knowledge of project management tools and their application to
meeting business objectives. MS Project preferred.
Understanding of contracts, business development and business planning.
Integrated project plan development, staffing plan development, cost and
risk management related to business impact, with emphasis on multi-
discipline integration.
Leadership/Teaming Skills:
Works effectively with team members
Fosters teamwork by listening to the input of others, while balancing this
with the ability to influence others where necessary, provide direction, and
champion change.
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills that incorporate an
advanced understanding of results, clarity of information, analytics, etc.
People Management
Fosters Teamwork.
Participates objectively in work/performance review process.
Ability to influence and have desired impact with others.
Required Experience
Minimum of 5 yrs related experience in program or product management.
Experience as an engineer or in an engineering environment desired.
Contract, ODM and/or OEM management experience preferred. |
