如果现在买100点，需要11,700（开户费之类的小钱就不算了）。
如果每年UW的学费涨8%（这个是过去三十年的平均），那么14年之后的学费就是
9000*power(1.08,14)=26,435
所以现在买GET的投资回报就是power(10,log(26435/11700,10)/14)-1=5.99%
这个计算有什么大问题吗？对于这个收益率大家觉得怎么样？大家觉得学费每年会涨多

, it is $3k currently.
Ideally I think you still need to use $11700 now to calculate rate of return
and thus the rate should be the same as your assumption.
What about a kid is enrolled by another less expensive college? by your
calculation, the return rate is even less.

How is the value of my account determined?
One GET unit equals 1 percent of the resident undergraduate
tuition and state-mandated fees at the most expensive
Washington public university at the time of use. We
determine this value, known as the unit “payout value,” at
the beginning of each academic year when the state public
universities set their own tuition rates.
