寻觅秋色：Weekend 10/30 (Sunday) Carne Mountain

Round Trip: 8.0 miles

Highest Point: 7085'
Gathering carpool time and place：
Time: 8 am Place: Bothell (Kings Gate) Park and Ride http://m.mapquest.com/maps?city=Kirkland&state=WA&address=13001+116th+Wy+NE
the GPS directions are not accurate, so here is the directions:
From I-405 North bound: take exit 20B (after 20A), stay to the left most
lane, (there would be 2 forks to the right, do NOT take those, keep left)
turn left at the end onto NE 124th St go over the highway overpass, keep
going straight turn right onto 116th Ave NE go through the traffic lights at
NE 128th St, road becomes 116th Way NE, keep right turn left at first
opportunity and go into the P&R
From I-405 South bound: take exit 20, after ramp turn right onto NE 124th St
turn right onto 116th Ave NE go through the traffic lights at NE 128th St,
road becomes 116th Way NE, keep right turn left at first opportunity and go
into the P&R
Things to bring with you:
Water, trail mix / energy bars,
Lunch
Hiking boots, trekking poles (ski poles will do too),
Hat, non-cotton clothes (layered),
gloves / traction device if you had them.
Rain gear just in case.
Emergency blanket, whistle, First aid kit ....

From there it is a 2:30 to 3 hours driving eastward on SR 522 then WR 2 then
SR 207 to Phelps Creek Trail head.
