Bring your friends, family to Winter Trails Day
January 7, Saturday
Bring your kids, your family and friends to Snoqualmie Pass on Saturday,
January 7, for a day of fun and an introduction to snowshoes. The
Mountaineers invites all, even experienced snowshoers, to try out snowshoes
from our Winter Trails Day partners: MSR, Tubbs, Atlas and REI—all for free!
Experts will be on hand to lead short tours every 20 minutes and offer mini-
clinics, but you may also opt to explore the snow on your own. A snowman-
building contest for kids and families is in the planning stage and hot
chocolate will be available for all. The fun begins at 10 am and continues
to 4 pm.
Directions: Traveling eastbound, take Exit 53 off I-90 at the pass, and turn
right. At the 'T' intersection, turn left (SR-906), go about 200 yards and
look for the Winter Trails Day as well as The Mountaineers signs on the
right, across from the Snoqualmie Pass Fire Hall. Parking will only be
available along the road or at the Summit main parking lots.
Winter Trails Day was developed 15 years ago to promote snowshoeing. It is a
great way to introduce people to the splendor of winter trails. |

snow shoe不是鞋子，是绑在鞋子上的floating gear。
