• The position requires solid knowledge of the UE and software
development process and cycle with proven experience working through
software product cycles from initial design to final product release.
• Thorough knowledge of globalization and localizability concepts as
well as the localization process, tools and issues.
• Solid technical, analytical problem solving, and troubleshooting
skills. The candidate should be result driven, action oriented and a quick
learner, who has the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in
order to solve complex problems and meet deadlines.
• The candidate should also have strong communication, negotiation and
cross-group collaboration skills. In addition, the candidate should have
good English written and verbal communication skills. A BA/BS Degree in
Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience
preferred.
• Work experience in a large organization and with external groups and
partners is a plus.
• Experience with LocStudio, Product Studio, Source Depot
Additional desired skills
• Knowledge of globalization practices and concepts;
• Familiarity with UE and SW build processes;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required
and knowledge of other languages preferred;
• Ability to train others in UE and SW localization process and tools;
• Ability to establish and maintain key contacts outside the
localization group, e.g., test, program management, build.
