Software Engineer , Seattle, WA
The Software Engineer will join the development team responsible for the
development of new RIA product using Adobe Flex , Java and Oracle.
Education and/or Experience:
? MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is
mandatory.
? Minimum of 3 years of development and architecture experience in Adobe
Flex (Adobe Flex SDK 3.5 and higher) utilizing MVC frameworks and Adobe data
services (Blaze DS or Live Cycle DS)
? Minimum of 5 years of development experience in Java (3 years with Master
’s degree), including at least 2 years of experience in Java EE. (
Experience with Spring or EJB 3.0 is mandatory)
? Works very comfortably in a heavily ActionScript-oriented Flex-based
application, can navigate Adobe SDK source code, and understands Adobe Flex
fundamental patterns.
? Extremely strong understanding of Data Binding, the Flex component
lifecycle, overriding default Flex behavior, Events, CSS and styling, layout
constraints, and ActionScript constructs is required.
? Independently creates and utilizes design patterns to simplify client-tier
development.
? Working knowledge of Parsley or Cairngorm is expected.
? Must be able to apply knowledge of MVC and Object Oriented design patterns
to implement cohesive client and middle-tier solutions.
? Experience in PL/SQL or SQL skills, including understanding of relational
database design and stored procedures are a plus.
? Experience with test driven development (TDD) with JUnit, Flex Monkey, or
Flex Unit is a must.
? Experience in structured environment with increasing levels of
responsibility and complexity.
? The ability to communicate and teach non-technical users a must.
? Excellent written and oral communications skills.
? Strong attention to detail.
? Ability to work additional hours as needed.
? Respond proactively to training, technical support and customer service
needs in line with provided guidelines. |
