以及地面上有个crack。有啥建议吗?谢谢! | T**8 发帖数: 78 | 2 If this is your house, tear down the insulation and check
1: Where does the water come from? leaking pipe or from outside once when
there were big rain
2. Is there any molds under the insulation? It looks like there are molds on
the wall, there may be more molds under the insulation.

| w*******4 发帖数: 104 | 3 Thanks. Do I need to tear down the whole insulation on the wall or just the
part underneath the leaking part? If the former, do I put on the new layer
of insulation? If the latter, do I just leave it partially open? Also, if it
is from the rain water, do I need to dig open the ground outside the house
and and seal the gap or sealing from inside is enough. I am a new home owner
and have too many questions....

| T**8 发帖数: 78 | 4 I think you only need to tear down the part above the stained areas until
you see the pipe ( if there is one). Most likely, if the leaking is from the
pipe on the wall or from first floor, you will find molds in the wall and
can track where the leaking is ( or was). You can put the insulation back if
there is no molds.
It should be easy to find if it is from rain water, the cement foundation in
the outside of your house should be above ground, if not you should remove
the dirts and it will solve the problem. You can not seal from inside.
Good luck.
