ipad 4 with 4G only weighs 1.46lb. Surface pro is still a heavy tablet.
But this Sony one has much better spec , 8G memory , i7, 256 SSD vs 128/
64 of surface. More a laptop replacement with touch screen.
Guess it depends what you need it for.

发帖数: 18644 | 15 FYI, I don't like Surface pro, missing GPS, Cellular, NFC to be a real
mobile device, and 2 lb is still too heavy. Not worthy of spending that
mount of money.
Besides SSD size, other spec difference does not mean much for majority
users.
RT is 1.5lb. RT will get sufficient apps to be good enough.

yeah.compared with ipad surface pro is more like a laptop replacement.
But now days everybody has a smart phone(at least for ppl with surface pro),
so 4g/gps/nfc etc are not as important as before.
