俺们在西雅图的长江三角洲人过去回国太悲惨了
now i just hope:
1. Some other airlines may follow into the direct-flight market to PVG(might
be a dream)
2. Delta could keep this direct route for a long time

expected, isn't it?
that's why I "dream" other airlines may compete for this same direct route

the prices of those indirect flights to go down
because:
1. competition among airlines
2. passengers who choose Delta direct route leave those seats empty at other
indirect flights, making the price lower

but DL direct flight is very convenient for our parents

In that case, you might as well get them to fly BR and make a connection at
TPE. At least the BR flight attendants speak mandarin. Note, North America
to China through Taiwan with a connecting flight within 24hrs can use TWOV.

Mandarin speaking is a big advantage, but transfer at TPE means more time
and hassle for old ppl...
