There are a few problem based on my observation:
1. Lower level has separate entrance. You need to add stairs in side to make
it more usable for "normal" family. It is not really a big job. However,
most buyers are not experienced to deal with that.
2. Close to Newport Way.
3. The timing is bad. It went on market too early and became an "old"
listing. |

Yes the lower part was used for running a day care. This can actually be
rented out and some people would prefer to have a separate entrance.
Although it's close the Newport Way, the master bedroom and one of the other
bedrooms are actually facing away from Newport way. Only one bedroom is
facing Newport Way, a little bit dark and can be noisy.
Agreed: the house came to the market too early. I went to the open house
today and not many people were there. Everyone is looking at the fresh meat
on the market now and this one is kinda forgotten.
The lot is 0.71 acres, but not much usage.
Someone else is saying that the lot is below the street level, so it might
be too cold living there?? Or flooding might be a concern in the future?
