发帖数: 107 | 1 Haven't visited Mt. Rainier for a couple of years now, but I still miss the
beautiful alpine wild flowers and the charming reflection lake. I originally
have given up the idea because of the bad weather forecast, but this
morning I just found out that Saturday will be sunny and 0% of rain at Mt.
Rainier national park.
Anyone would like to join? I can drive or carpool. Either way, just want to
visit Mt Rainier again, and possibly make some new friends.

发帖数: 107 | 3 I am thinking the Van Trump Trail on the sothwest entrance. It is a moderate
hike of 5.8 miles round trip whcih takes about 4 to 5 hours.

You will be able to see a 300 foot Comet Falls, Mount Adams and Mount St.
Helens, and marmots, pikas , goats and other wild animals.
I don't mind hiking on the skyline trail again if that is the opinons of
majorities.

I still don't know whether I will be able go on Saturday. Have not hiked in
that area, would love to do so.

any filter so the color is not vibrant enough.. Now I got one CPL filter,
and really want to try it on this beautiful landscape once more.

发帖数: 107 | 11 The primary purpose of this trip is to take some pictures. So we don't have
to hike long miles if everyone prefers just a sightseeing trip. There are
plenty of hiking trails we can choose from, and above all, this might be the
last chance of this year to see the beautiful wild flowers in a sunny
weather on weekends.
BTW, I am open either Saturady or Sunday. looks like both days will be nice
weather. |

Where to meet: Kingsgate Park & Ride
116th Avenue NortheastKirkland, WA 98034
If there are more ppl to come, we can pick you up along the way ( if seats
are available).
Target time to arrive at Paradise: 11:30 am
Plan to spend 5 to six hours in Paradise, then head back to Seattle by 5:
30pm.
This is a tentative plan, if everyone wants to stay there a little longer,
we can accommodate that too. |
