Intro:
Attorney Lani Cao received a Bachelor Degree of Law from China University of
Politics and Law in China, and Juris Doctor from Seattle University School
of Law in the United States. She has both legal practice licenses in China
and the U.S. In China, Attorney Cao’s practice area was in Business Law as
an in house counsel. Since 2007 in the State of Washington, Attorney Cao has
been focusing on immigration law practice.
Attorney Cao has been an active community member by serving the community
along with her colleagues to provide legal resources in immigration law and
other areas of law. She is the invited speaker for immigration law and the
invited host of Attorney Cao Time at Seattle Chinese Radio. She is a
frequent invited writer on legal topics for China Press, and has been giving
invited speeches at U.W. and Seattle U. by the Chinese Consular Office of
San Francisco for law related topics.
In this presentation, specifically for entrepreneurs or their partners and
investment from a foreign country, she will cover a variety of topics and
legal issues in business immigration areas, such as nonimmigrant visa
options, immigrant visa options, company structure to attract foreign
