Seattle Cherry Blossom and Japanese Cultural Festival is a Fun Festival, Apr
. 24-26, that needs many Volunteers to cover 3 buildings at Seattle Center.
We are an all volunteer 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. About 10,000
attend each year and Free to the Public. Earn a Free T-Shirt and Access to
Snacks and Japanese Tea. Please Bring Cash to Buy Lunch at Fisher Pavilion.
Only the Gift Shop will accept Credit Cards.
April 25th - 26th. Hours: Sat/Sun: 10am - 6pm. Sun. Take Down After 6pm.
Positions: Volunteer Check-in (Fisher), Stage Assistants, Info Booth (Armory
and Seattle Center Pavilion), Films and Lecture (Armory), Security, Kids
Games area (Only Foreign with Limited English and High school students will
work these booths). Additional people can help at the Gift Shop, Assisting
with the Exhibit Chair. For Emcees, You will need Public Speaking Experience
for Shows. Please refer to our Facebook Page. Volunteer Forms Can be found
there. Deadline is Apr. 15th. If you can Commit For sure, please Contact
Connie S. Thru this Meetup and fill out the application, Photo Release Forms
, hopefully before You RSVP. This Volunteer Opportunity Will be Cross Posted
on other Meetup Groups. Dinner will be to Those Who Stay for Take Down on
Sun. Volunteer Orientation is Thur., Apr. 23, 6:30 pm at Fisher Pavilion by
the stage. We will Also have a Sake Bottle Auction and Tasting Luncheon on
Apr. 30th, 11:30am at Seattle Center Pavilion. Tickets are $50 and can be
bought at the Festival Gift Shop and soon Online on our website. Donations
of Gift Certificates and Baskets for the Auction is Appreciated!
