Very bad experience! Stay away from TAG property management!
The staff simply don't know what they are doing!
I filled an online application for a house for rent and called the staff
about the status of my application. The lady told me that they have to show
us the property first before processing the application. Chris of this
agency showed us the property (we believe we are the first to visit the
property) and we informed him at the same day we want to rent it. We keep
calling him to make sure we can get it and he said we can move forward since
we agree on an earlier move-in. However, we called the next day and were
informed the house was taken because somebody else put a holding fee for the
house of interest. We are very angry because:
1. we followed the exact procedure they told us.
2. we agree everything they want (early move-in date, waive requirement of
fixing the house)
3. We visit the house driving from far away. It is a total waste of time and
emotion.
4. we feel we were cheated by this agency. They are not very honest and we
are not fairly treated.
We don't believe they can manage your properties professionally based on my
observation: they just want to take management fee from property owner, very
lack of professionalism. | l***x

讲，他也不相信你是不是一言九鼎的，还是人家当场压了现金的实在。社会上到处都是
这样的事，不要太理想化了

在租房是卖方市场，建议把必须的文档，包括credit score report 都准备齐全。 | c*****z

你说的我明白，就是被骗的感觉不好。我在BBB发帖了，TAG也回了，很遗憾，大部分都
是谎言。以下是他们在BBB的回复还有我的回应（估计不会被发上去，好像BBB一个id只
能写一个review).
因生活所迫，不得不来这边忍受高房价和高租金的欺压，但是也不是随便被这些租房中
介戏耍的。这个 TAG疑似是华人的公司（不要太敏感啊，呵呵），给大家也算提个醒。

Hello, We did not receive a phone call from this person to set up an
appointment. We do not clear applications from anyone until they have viewed
the property. He called on Nov. 18th and asked if we had ran his
application. I asked him if he had viewed the property as we do not run
applications until they have seen the property, this way we can refund them
their application fee if they view the property and it is not what they are
looking for. When he called I told him that Chris was at the property at the
time of his call and gave him Chris's phone number and asked him to call
him to see if he was still at the property so that he could view the home.
He was not the first person to view. 9 people submitted applications and we
accepted the first one that viewed the home, filled out the paperwork and
submitted everything necessary. We cannot rent to everyone that applied.

Below is the rebuttal to TAG Property Management’s response.
TAG’s statement is only partially true, and most part are outright lies and
misleading to say the least.
1. TAG lady received my call and give me Chris’s phone number (since he
is the guy in the field). So we went ahead and made a tour appointment with
Chris(no need to make another appointment with the office). To say that
there is no appointment is simply a lie. TAG made such lame excuse and try
to place blame on customer. Shame on them!
2. We ARE the 1st to tour this rental property. We specifically ask Chris
about this and his response is positive. That’s why we were so excited and
expectation of being able to rent this property was so high.
3. We understand the competition is high and the landlord has the right
to choose who to rent to. What is disgusting about TAG is the way they
conduct business:
If they are honest with us in the beginning, for example, just tell us in
order to secure this rental, you need to deposit holding fee up front, you
need to waive all repair needed and you need to move in as early as Dec 1st.
We wouldn’t be so upset. On the contrary, they gave us the impression
that we are the frontrunner and lead to high expectation from us. Once the
false hope is shattered it is like kicking in the gut. That’s very
sickening!
Again, stay away from TAG Property Management!
Their realty service is most likely untrustworthy either based on their
unapologetic attitude.
