Our client is is looking for talented Senior Full Stack Software Development
Engineers for supporting product development and advanced R&D innovations
of services in the cloud.
The lab urgently needs senior full stack software development engineers who
are passionate about state-of-art big data platform technologies and
applications, and want to take on critical changes to create some world-
first solutions.
Depending on the experience and technical skills, the full stack software
engineer will be deeply involved in architectural design, implementation,
prototyping, and commercialization of cloud based services and applications.
The engineer will also have the opportunity to delve into machine learning
and deep learning technologies, evaluate, develop and integrate those
technologies into the projects.
Please note this is a generic job description of the lab. Project assignment
will be made based on candidate's expertise and interest after a hiring
decision is made.
Job Duties
• Work with lab researchers and software architects to ideate and
define the product/service, assess technical architecture options, and to
create product requirement documents and functional specifications.
• Being owner of specific software module/services, design,
implement, and unit-test owned services in a fast-pacing development
environment. Contribute to integration and end-to-end testing as well as
root cause analysis of defects.
Qualifications
• Industry candidates are required to have at least 4 years of work
experience on backend applications and cloud solutions. Candidates with
demonstrable deep technical expertise in large-scale backend development,
commercialization and operation experience will be given preference.
• Proven experience on large-scale system design, distributed
database/data store such as Hadoop, HBase and Cassandra, data processing
framework such as Spark and Storm, messaging bus such as Kafka, analytics
engine such as Elasticsearch, log system such as Flumen, load balancing
technology such as Ngnix, frontend framework such as Vue.js, Angular2 is a
plus.
• Candidates familiar with machine learning (SVM, Random Forest,
KNN, CNN, LSTM, GAN, as well as Spark MLlib, TensorFlow, Cafee, CNTK, etc)
will be preferred but not required.
• Fluent in Java and C/C++ programming. Expertise with object-
oriented design and development mandatory.
• Excellent knowledge of fundamentals of computer science –
operating systems, data structures, algorithms, and IP networking concept–
is mandatory.
• Strong sense of project ownership required. Self-motivated and
comfortable to learn and solve complicated problems in new technical areas
under pressure.
• Minimally Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required; MS
