click your connections, right click the one u r using like connection1 or 2
or wireless
and pick tcp/ip in properties. click advanced, click options,
click tcp/ip filterings, enable it and check the tcp ports as permit only | kb

Be sure to open the port your PC provide service on.
Like if you need to remote control your PC from home using VNC, then remember
to open the port xxxx(You can find the port number in VNC).
