Grid is said to be the future of Distributed Computing. Current Internet
can be viewed as computers communicating with each other to form a netw
ork. But the vision of Grid is that there will be no networked computers
, but a single, giant virual computer. Resources (including hardware, so
ftware, data, network, ... everything) will be integrated seemlessly und
erneath. To you, it is just A computer.
