有了房子，退税就多了，这样一年年凑第二处第三处的首付就很快。
无房族，退税少，工资实打实月月光，攒首付比较难。

爷叔说得对，第一个房子的头款是最困难的。。。我是９８大学毕业开始工作的（如果
像爷叔一样早几年就好了。。。），１９９９年第一次拿奖金，第２年全部做了头款买
了房。那个时候房子便宜啊。。。如果早工作几年，早就发死了。。。２００２年开始
房子狂涨，２００５年我把第一套房子卖掉，赚了钱在上海开始买房子，当时上海房子
还是比较便宜，汇率更好。一直到去年和今年又把上海的房子卖掉，钱回到美国，又开
始在纽约买房子。。。有了第一套房子，以后就一切都顺利了。。。
上海人嘛，也就是像我一样小来来，搞搞小房子。做大事没有本事，拿拿小工资倒腾小
房子，过小生活，偶尔再哈日一下。。 |

that they were okay for not having one because they were both WASPs and I am not, still he insisted that a MBA would be waste of time unless I wanted to change career...
i am still not sure if I had made a good decision by staying on... a few of my
pals went on to get MBA, a few of them are doing better than me while a
handful are doing worse.. there is no certainty in life, just piles of random good
lucks and bad lucks...

still works for some moronic chinese company. I told him that he was okay
because that moronic chinese company has a ticker on Nasdaq but mine only
has a logo on the street. Still, he insisted that an PhD degree is useless
unless I can achieve the level of Mr.Geisha who also helped tons of others
in the past.
I then gave up the idea of pursuit of any further educational goals.

爷叔说得对，第一个房子的头款是最困难的。。。我是９８大学毕业开始工作的（如果
像爷叔一样早几年就好了。。。），１９９９年第一次拿奖金，第２年全部做了头款买
了房。那个时候房子便宜啊。。。如果早工作几年，早就发死了。。。２００２年开始
房子狂涨，２００５年我把第一套房子卖掉，赚了钱在上海开始买房子，当时上海房子
还是比较便宜，汇率更好。一直到去年和今年又把上海的房子卖掉，钱回到美国，又开
始在纽约买房子。。。有了第一套房子，以后就一切都顺利了。。。
上海人嘛，也就是像我一样小来来，搞搞小房子。做大事没有本事，拿拿小工资倒腾小
房子，过小生活，偶尔再哈日一下。。 |

i am still not sure if I had made a good decision by staying on... a few of my
pals went on to get MBA, a few of them are doing better than me while a

because that moronic chinese company has a ticker on Nasdaq but mine only
