secondly, i have some thoughts here, well, not all my own thoughts.
a few years back, quite some singaporean travelled to some well known poor
countryside villages in China. hope to help local people especially poor
school students (or maybe just to help themselves find their value). they
believed they could make difference by spending efforts and money. but the
result were not promising. i read an article written by one of the volunteers.
