As far as I can tell from my experience of job-hunting in Singapore, for
Desk Quant fresh right out of school without related experience, you might
expect a base range from SG80K--120K (the higher if you hold PHD). For
middle/back office quant, starting point would be lower, say SG$70K.
I personally don't think it makes sense to compare with other region, say
either HK, Shanghai or USA. Different tax rate/fx rate/living expenses.
