dynamics and how neurons encode memory. You are skilled in designing, coding
, testing and implementation of configuration changes to software that meet
both functional and technical requirements. You may also have some oversight
responsibility for the technology solution and may assist in the
development of the team. Your key responsibilities may include contributing
to the planning and analyzing of high-level software strategies and
solutions through functional and technical expertise, designing and
implementing analysis that will identify requirements related to processes
and technology and participating in designing the framework of a technical
infrastructure. In addition, you will create, execute and document the tests
necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets
performance requirements and define the characteristics, capabilities,
inputs, outputs and results necessary to describe the required functionality
of the system.
Requirements:
· A PhD in Computer Science or Software Engineering
· Experience in computational neuroscience and cognitive systems
· Experience in Machine learning algorithms and architectures,
Learning Theory and Signal Processing preferred
· An ability to develop prototype applications to demonstrate
research ideas using C, C++, Java or other programming languages
· Experience with programming on a Computational Neuroscience tool
(Neuron or Genesis) is a plus
· Good record of relevant publications and evidence of related
software prototype production is required to demonstrate experience
· Self-motivated team player with good analytical skills
· Ability to communicate in good spoken and written English
