2. Job description:
You will work independently as well as with other team members to develop
algorithms and systems in vision-based 3D sensing techniques for 3D surface
profilometry using multi-cameras and structured lighting and analyze color
images to detect and evaluate defects in industry parts for quality control.
Besides, you will also need to develop advanced computer-aided methods for
medical image analysis and diagnosis.
3. Qualification:
A Ph.D in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/Mathematics/Engineering or
related fields
4. Work experience: 1 year after PhD;
5. Technical skills:
A strong R&D track record with good publications in computer vision and
pattern recognition especially in the following related fields: epipolar
geometry, vision-based 3D sensing techniques (active stereo vision),
structured light 3D (temporal coding (e.g., phase shifting)), 3D surface
profilometry, camera and projector calibration, color image processing (
familiar with active models, such as geodesic active surface, level set) for
2D/3D deformable object segmentation, point set / deformable registration,
neural networks, support vector machines, Bayesian methods
Knowledge/experience in industrial quality inspection (of geometry dimension
and tolerance and surface defect) is a plus
6. Soft skills: Good analytical and communication skills
7. Abilities /Aptitudes: Self-motivated; Independent; Team player
