working in the area of cloud computing platform and applications in the
school of computer engineering at Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore.
Topics of interest include, but not limited to
Green Data Center Architecture
Media Streaming with Cloud Support
Big Data Analytics in Cloud
Cyber Security in Cloud Computing
Elastic Computing Model in Cloud
Stochastic Process and Signal Processing
Duties involve theoretical research and system prototype, in collaboration
with top-level universities and centers, such as Carnegie Mellon University,
Stanford University, MIT, BellLaboratories, China Mobile Research and IBM
Research.
Applicants for these positions should have the following qualifications
PhD/Master/Bachelor degree in computer science, computer
engineering, electrical engineering or a related discipline
Research experience (for PhD/Master Candidates) with publications
in international conferences and prestigious journals
Competency in Linux programming and application development (
preferable)
Excellent communication and writing skills in English
The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package
commensurate with his/her qualification and experience. The appointment can
start any time and will be initially for one year, with possibility for
extension up to two additional years.
