发帖数: 106 | 2 I normally put a layer of storage wax on the bottom before I put them up.
Also turn the DIN way down before you store them for the summer.
Storage wax is basically waxing without the scraping (plus use a cheaper wax
). Turn the DIN down will give the spring prolonged functional life.
When skis' bottom are exposed to air for a whole summer, the material
oxidizes and becomes more fragile and easy to break off. It's also harder to
wax later on since wax doesn't adhere to it as well.

websites and heard from many people about doing storage wax.
