The snow was drier than Saturday due to the lower snow level.
The best part was"the chutes" opened again after about a week of closure.
It is a 200 acres of terrian with 1500 feet of vertical and 40-55 degrees,
recognized as Tahoe's longest steep runs.

发帖数: 1327 | 8 my impression of mineral basin was a wide open bowl with few trees on my
last year's trip. i only did a few runs there and i must missed something.
i am looking at a trail map and i see some db runs with trees below "the
bookends". do you refer to that area? going to check it out next month.
