价钱很不错，连运费还不到$120, 看了对这个店的review, 评价也不错。但是唯一能选
的长度就是174cm, 我身高181，体重185磅，现在应该是介于beginner和intermediate
的水平，选174合适吗？以前租的时候店小二都给我167的。
还有就是，在晚上买旧ski靠谱吗，因为也没法检查，他的网站上给的condition的评价
倒是excellent？我看ebay上很多新的也才$200, 是不是直接买新的就算了？按照我现
在的水平，也没必要通过demo来买吧（我怀疑我也试不出什么区别） |

fitter说你试试这双吧，虽然是performance boot, 但是很宽。是一双被穿了几次的
Nordica The Beast
trade in。我一直怀疑performance boots不可能舒服，没想到感觉非常好，穿了十分
钟，只有一个突出骨头的地方压的比较疼，但是boot fitter说这种问题是最容易fix的
。刚才他打电话说他已经做了一点微调，就是把有压疼的地方punch out 1.5mm，我打
算下班去试试。他跟我说根据他50年（！）boot fitting的经验，这双boots对我来说
是最promising的一双，而且我可以随时带回去调整，直到perfect为止，我想我八成就
会买它了。

you find is Intermediate / Advanced, 宽度差别大好转弯， carving better |

Back from the boot fitter and ended up buying the boots for $150, which
includes lifetime boot fitting. It was used a few times and traded in but I
don't really mind.
I can see the words 'The BEAST' but no '10', maybe an older model than
beast 10? I googled up and down and couldn't find an exact image for it.
The flex index is adjustable between 110 and 120, much stiffer than any
other boots I've ever tried on. The power boost strap works extremely well.

发帖数: 3042 | 11 Thanks. 那个volkl也是intermediate的。刚才看了不少文章，都说这种narrow waist,
bigger sidecut的设计最适合东部的冰和硬雪，那我还是买它吧，在网上买旧的还是
稍微有点不放心。如果以后有幸去西部滑powder, 就在当地租好了 :)

shop to have it fitted if something doesn't feel right. Seems like you have
an experienced staffer there too.

Try used rentals at local shops; swifty stores, or even yard sales, if you
are buying your first set. |
