upgrades on my gears in the recent 3 weeks and would like to share here in
case you are thinking about upgrading and need a reference:
1. Bought a pair of new 08/09 Dynastar mythic rider 184mm with PX12 fluid
binding on ebay $369. It is with 88mm waist and I plan to use it for
everyday skiing in tahoe area. It is narrower than the B94 but longer since
I do not see that much powder days in tahoe and want to go a little bit

bindings are not designed to take that kind of mileage.

make sense.

didn't realize that tele bindings are cheaper, more durable and more
accountable in backcountry. Since my hammerhead is basically indestructible.
even if I manage to break the cable, I can still replace
it within 5 minutes on trail.

binding over the one can not release. unfortunately, the telemark is the
one can not release...

AT setup otherwise.
Now, AT bindins are made lighter and lighter, meanwhile, tele bindings
become more complicated.
I just know that they are going to make AT boots more flexible like tele
boots. I think as time goes by, the fifference between AT and tele will be
much smaller, except for the unique tele-turn.
