发帖数: 472 | 25 I think with only 1/3-1/2 of total length of edge gripping, boarder Laosan
has a stronger opinion against hard surface as oppose to skier us. The
traverse on the top, which might be more prone to wind and ice, would be
harder to him to balance through. And the image, true or not, that Laosan
likes to cover the whole mountain at any resort makes him more exposed to
icy runs.

下边，很无聊的，很多lift，每个都很短，加上坐lift，10分钟一趟，还没感觉啥呢已
经到低了。且因为那边风大，也行不成啥mogule啦， feature拉的，总是平平的run，
感觉有些无聊，呵呵
upper要是开的话还是很不错的

for sierra, next week will be unsettling weather, possibly matching the
quality of the past two days, hand down the best of the season (except for
Jan 28 cold storm which I unfortunately missed--so don't know).

if it is tomorrow in storm, I would go to alta/snowbird for sure. For
saturday, these would be still excellent. Which one of powder mountain and
park city would benefit better from the storm, and which one will be less
likely tracked up? By Sunday, backcountry would be the best choice.
Locals should know better.
