the mid 20's. It is very interesting... hehe Will definitely try to get
better...
A few things I learned:
1) I'm regular stance, my friend is goofy, we are both right handed. Weird.
I'm not sure that I'm regular either - maybe I'll try goofy next time...
2) I'm a pretty good snow plow.
3) Knee pads may be a good idea for me. I'm pretty sure I will have 2
pretty large bruises on both of my knees tomorrow...
4) The falls that hurt the most are the ones that's totally not expected...
like, when you have already slowed down, your J turn is pretty much
complete, you relax your legs a bit and suddenly WHAM you land flat on your
butt.
5) I really have to consciously move my center of gravity forward...
6) It is a pain in the ass to have to strap on boots all the time, but the
boots are infinitely more comfortable than ski boots...
This could be a very slippery and dangerous path... So far I really liked
snowboarding and the challenge of learning something new. I'm hoping that I
will not like it too much... |
