从没用过。西部雪很干，不像东部，虽然大，但不是没那么可怕。去雪场的路一般都清
理的比较及时。
具备一些雪天开车的基本常识就好了。
当然积雪过了底盘，那就没辙了，每年都会有这么几次这样的storm。但是正好被你赶
上的概率不高，这情况只在80上遇见一次。 |

to carry chains in the winter months near the mountain passes. And yes,
there will be highway patrols to bust you when there is a storm. If you get
caught, you will be forced to buy their chains if you are lucky they have
chains for your car. AWDs are usually exempted but I carry a pair of Z
chains anyway. I once had a slid in Utah driving out of Snowbird. It was a
steep downhill, the snow was packed by the traffic. My tires were about 3
years old. We were moving slowly and AWD didn't help too much.
Snow can still be quite wet in early and late seasons even in the rockies.

they have chains or stud tires.

科罗拉多对于防滑链的规定大约是分三种情况
1、不要求
2、载多少人以上的、commercial的车辆必需有四轮驱动或者上防滑链
3、道路关闭（大部分情况下是降雪造成的车祸导致的，单纯因为雪太大关闭高速一年
有两三回或者没有）
所以小车没有防滑链问题不大，虽然偶尔恶劣情况下装上防滑链有很大帮助，尤其是如
果高速公路（主要是指I70）关闭，不得不走普通公路翻越山口的情况下。
但是就我观察，在冬季偶尔遇到的下大雪的时候，山里公路上跑的两驱小sedan就比较
少了，但是包括冒雪出行的小车在内，上防滑链的是凤毛麟角，除了18轮以外。

发帖数: 1371 | 15 你去滑几天？天气预报一般7天之内，有没有大规模降水还是靠谱的。所以你可以到时
候视天气情况而定。如果那几天都是风和日丽，那么任何车都可以。如果你预期在路上
会遇到下雪或者是刚刚下过大雪天气还没有放晴的话，那么四驱的车会给你更多的信心
，虽然一般sedan多半也可以勉强对付－－路上能开多快不取决于你的车的能力，取决
于附近开得最慢的车。

发帖数: 1917 | 16 我觉得四驱会好一点，我第一次去Aspen就是飞到denver然后租Suv，那段路开起来可能
比地图上的时间长，尤其是Vail Pass那一段不好开，那次在山下的时候还蓝天白云，
上到Vail Pass就鹅毛大雪。而且回丹佛机场（星期天下午）赶上堵车，你最好提前出
发。
以后去就是飞Aspen机场了，不过这两个选择天气不好的时候都有问题，因为丹佛转
Aspen的航班天气不好的时候经常被取消，有一次回来的时候在Aspen机场等了好几个小
时，到了丹佛差一点错过了飞动岸的最后一班。
