Everton and Newcastle United transfer target Miller Bolanos makes shock
China move
The Ecuadorean, also a target for Brighton, has joined Guangzhou Evergrande.
Ecuadorean striker Miller Bolanos has been heavily linked with a move to
England in recent weeks.
The Times recently reported that Everton were considering a swoop for the
Emelec forward, whilst Mundo Deportivo reported that Newcastle United had
been offered the player.
Brighton were also linked with a move for the player. El Diario reported
that Brighton made a whopping £7.3 million offer for the player this
month.
Brighton's interest appeared to wane as bigger clubs became interested and
the fact that Everton are pressing on with a move for Lokomotiv Moscow
forward Oumar Niasse and Newcastle have signed Seydou Doumbia might be the
best hint yet that neither side will be signing the player.
Indeed they won't as the talented striker has become the latest player to
pick China over Europe. Bolanos has joined Guangzhou Evergrande, as reported
