open-source software 的人难道真的只是在为了跟microsoft之类的公司对着干吗？
他们真的是完全 altruistic to write all these codes for the good of the other
people?
今天听了一个很著名的Economist 的讲座， 说的是open-source software 之后的动机
。 他说的是这些open-source software 的编写者 give the software for free, but
make the profit in complementary sales/services, Basically, he meant
although it's so easy to make copies of softwares, but when you are in
trouble, you would only be able to get help |

发帖数: 26819 | 6 开源其实是一个多面的问题。一方面来说开了源就没有秘密可言了，另一方面开源又可以
不用付成本地吸引别人来完善自己的软件。
另外，对一个公司来说，能用得上别人的开源软件也是得益啊。
所以围绕开源软件的利益和得失，得从量计算，具体情况具体分析。
