最好找对应的驱动，别乱抓东西来实验。

re are two things you need to do:
1. change your bios setting about hard drive, so that your sata hard drive i
s recognized.
2. make sure your xp installation CD has SP2 package. If not, you need to sl
ip strem SP2 package into it (please google).

for your question, 1) did you mean I need to change the bios-->hard drive
to "ATA" mode? if so, how to change back after install xp? or I use "ATA" all the time?

发帖数: 190 | 8 I believe the hard drive was set in AHCI mode and you need to change to ATA
mode. Then you should be able to install XP and you need not to change it ba
ck. If you can not install your XP, make sure it has XP2 package. Good luck!

After changing the BIOS's HD setting to "ATA" mode, it is working fine. hehe
