dues to equations. Try double click each equation,
if you can not open one, delete that. Try saving.

Previously, I have the similar problem that I could not save or open
some powerpoint file. After I disabled the "allow faster save" option
in "Tools-->options-->Edit". And also limited the "number of undo"
to 10. then everything works fine. maybe the Word has the same problems.
