事情是这样的，我想查一个域名的 com/net/org/cn 版，到那个网站一搜，结果都有，
一阵高兴，然后到 1and1 我的hosting公司去注册，却被告知com的那个被注调了，让
我很纳闷。结果是 NS 把那个域名锁住了，除非在他们那里花 35 美元注册，明明可以
不到 8美元就可以搞定的，为什么非要35 美元。典型的巧取豪夺！与偷域名没有两样
。第一次碰到如此赤裸裸无耻的美国公司。

are you sure you can register that name if you are willing to spend $35 with
networksolutions?
if a name expired, the original registrar still need to keep it for a grace
period before release it back to the public domain. that's the pending
delete state. not sure if this is the case for you, but even so, you should
not be able to register a name during pending delete phase, because the
original owner can still decide to renew the domain. that's my |

I just can't believe networksolutions, the only domain registrar back then
did something like this just to lure money. it has turned itself into a
phishing site. that is horrible. I'm totally in shock.
I don't use it anyway, I usually use www.domaintools.com to check
availability and register on 1and1.com

the company/venture, that makes the name sticking out and famous.
I'd say don't worry about it. Just think of another name and use that
instead. |
