For example, ci host is based in Texas I heard. They provide cheap dedicated
hosting service. But I've yet to use them.
The company I worked before used their service, good and dirt cheap. Except
when the wire got tripped, then, you could wait up to half a day to get
someone to plug the wire back in...hehe... Trade off.
I guess, you get what you paid for, in general, there is no free lunch. |

If you are looking for the best connection from China, you should consider
the geographical distance. For longer distance, more routers are required.
Therefore, lower bandwidth, and higher risk of losing packet. SF is the best
location. |

It looks like most Asian undersea cables are connected to the coast between
seatle and sf. According to Level3 and MCI network, traffic from China
should go through SF -> LA. Seatle may also be a good choice. |
