天收到个法国的小手机公司（主要是做ODM）的信，说是想把我的软件embeded到他们的
手机里，问licence fee, customisation, support， etc. 我没经验，不知道该要多
少，怕多了把人吓跑（他们也是小公司），少了又亏了。那位有经验，说一说。多谢多

R&D might cost 3-5% of total budget.
within that, software&hardware might be 40%, maintainance might be 60%
Within software&hardware, let's assume software cost 50%
Look at the development team, if it is strong, they develop a lot inhouse,
then purchase might be low %, otherwise, purchase might be high %.
If they do 10 projects per year, your license might be 10%.

10k以下多少多少钱,50k以下多少多少钱.一般小公司比较喜欢这么给钱.然后其他NRE就
按你的小时算钱,这部分可以算得合理一些.如果是大公司一般会买断你的版权.那个就

式工作的labor fee大概是$55，可这没算各种福利的费用，我是不是可以多算一些？是
不是太贪了? :) 还有一般程序员的效率是多少? 我是research lab的, 不了解行情,我
好像远达不到一天500行,也就200行吧.

then. Has IPhone hit the 10M mark yet? For CE product, 50k per year is
considered good volume. Cell
phone industry is more lucrative, I guess.

发帖数: 1511 | 15 500 lines is a general number. You can separate one lines into two or three
based on the general coding guideline and your personal habit. Figure out
the market number by yourself.
The method mentioned above is good to know the labor cost but limited in
understanding the market value and intellectual cost.
Some discussion has mentioned the charge per copy. It is good but you need
more research on the market. In addition to that, you face the risk that if
the buyer do not let you know their sales
