It is a won won won situation for everyone. Pure profit for Groupon, Great
price for Groupon memebers to do something that they enjoy and a great
target group for the companies to advertise to.
The companies working with groupon are not looking to generate a profit
there. They are looking to advertise to the target group without any real
cost to them.

model. In fact, that type of business never worked before. They may be ok
for a while, but, long term, I don't see them survive.
In general, money is made by selling your own products, or find a niche and
work on it really hard. Big and all including services, sounds smoke to me. | d*******r

发帖数: 447 | 5 Yep. For example. A Gym is offering 3 Yoga class on Groupon for $99. 50%
off regular price. While in fact they offer a free try out class on their
end already. So it is only two extra class for $99. The cost to the
company really is not as high as it seems.
The key points are
1. people who signed up for the deal paid $99 already and are greatly
interested in Yoga. that is exactly the group of people the company is
looking for.
2. for those people, they dont just take 3 classes of Yog
