Is it profitable to be a middleman of selling Chinese vegetable or a farmer?

it could be if you are close to a metropolitan area and the land is cheap.
There are some Chinese farmers in east LA and East Seattle areas, as far as
I know. Some people even thought to bring Chinese farmers into the country.
