You can request a trial version from Intuit to see if you like it.
If you don't have any payroll to run, you can actually use any older version
of QuickBooks. Intuit has a 3 year sunset policy for QuickBooks. That
means the tax table in QuickBooks won't be able to automatically update
after 3 years starting from the XXXX year version of the software. You
might be able to see if anyone has an outdated version of QB or buy it on
eBay or in office supplies stores when there is a deal.
