发帖数: 373 | 2 Nearly all of the fed contracts need to be published for public or selective
bidding. I don't know how your friend can designate you as the 'sole'
contractor. It's very rare and sometimes illegal an individual can be the
direct contractor.

individual. I don't think you need to have company to do this. |

My friend is working on form SF424 and does not know what to put for EIN#.
Any suggestion?

that area, my friend is checking whether I could provide consulting service
on that specific sub-contract. If the answer is yes, then how could I get
paid hourly.
Any suggestion or advice is welcome. Thanks!

发帖数: 38 | 6 I am not sure the nature of your friend's funding. I manage quite many SBIR
and STTR projects funded by government, and most projects we have
consultants from industry and academy. I don't think you need EIN as a
consultant. Just send them invoice indicating how many hours you worked and
whatis pre agreed consulting rate, and you should be paid. You do need
provide them your SSN, so late they can send you form for tax. |
